We are happy to share that to announce that a calendar with practice and game schedules is now updated, check it out. We would also like to highlight that coaches will be communicating which players are team 1 and which are team 2. This information will be shared prior to the first game of the season.

Please note that there are some practice time changes for home game weeks to accommodate one team playing and the other team practicing. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

Additionally, players will be receiving jerseys at some point during the season. In the interest of minimizing environmental impact and optimizing our budget, these jerseys are loaners and will need to be returned at the end of the season. We kindly ask that you help remind your child of the importance of returning their jersey at the end of the season.

U9 – 2 spaces available – last day to register is May 7th

U15 – 4 spaces available – last day to register is April 30th

Hello Krossfire Families,

If you’re like us, we are excited that the start of the Kingston Krossfire box lacrosse season is just around the corner. We have seen an increase in our registration numbers this season so that means lacrosse is alive and well in Kingston! Our Krossfire coaches will be reaching out soon to families (if they haven’t already) to provide details on the season. We wanted to provide everyone with an update on the season so keep reading.

Lacrosse Schedule
As a reminder, the following divisions will begin as per below. U7 and U9 will run for 8 weeks while U11 to U15 will run for 10 weeks. U17 Girls will run until the OLA Provincials in early August.

U7 (1 Team) – Monday May 1st – 5:30pm – 6:30pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)
U9 (2 Teams) – Monday May 1st – 6:30pm – 7:30pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)
U11 (2 Teams) – Wednesday April 19th – 5:00pm – 6:30pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)
U13 (2 Teams) – Wednesday April 19th – 6:30pm – 8:00pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)
U15 (1 Team) – Monday April 17th – 6:00pm – 7:30pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)
• The U15 team will move to Henderson Arena starting May 1st
U17 Girls Rep (1 Team) – Wednesday April 19th – 8:00pm – 9:30pm (Kingston Memorial Centre)

Game Schedule
We are in the midst of finalizing our game schedules across the divisions and these will be posted on the Kingston Lacrosse Association website. We have been able to secure some games with other organizations (Tyendinaga, Quinte, etc.). Home games will occur during the regular times listed above while away games will be scheduled based on the dates/times available with the other organization.

Box lacrosse equipment requirements can be found on our website by clicking here. Our coaches will provide you will additional information when they reach out shortly.

Volunteers
We are actively seeking volunteers to assist us with the following roles. If you would be willing to assist with any of these, please reply to this email.
• Timekeepers
• Trainers
• Assistant Coaches
• Referees (paid position)

Sponsorship
As the association continues its rebuild, our goal was to keep registration costs as low as we could. However we have a number of investments we need to make to ensure all players have an amazing experience. We are asking for your help in reaching out to businesses (either you have one, or you know others that do) who might be willing to sponsor the Kingston Lacrosse Association to help offset our costs this upcoming season. Additional details will be posted on our website soon.
